András Molnár, MD, PhD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Semmelweis University in 2019. As a medical student, he developed a strong interest in otorhinolaryngology, which stemmed from his passion for music, singing, and vocal training. To deepen his understanding of this field, he began conducting research at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Semmelweis University, with guidance from his primary tutor, Prof. Ágnes Szirmai. His initial experiences in neurotology revealed the complexity of this branch of medicine and highlighted the importance of a multidisciplinary approach. He participated in various conferences, where he presented his research findings. Before graduating, he commenced his PhD work as a recipient of a National Excellence Program for researchers. He also won several research grants, which contributed significantly to his scientific research and publications. He earned his PhD degree with ‘summa cum laude’ honors. In addition to his routine clinical practice, Dr Molnár continues to engage in scientific research and publication. He regularly serves as a reviewer and editor for international scientific journals and presents his research results at both Hungarian and international conferences.
